Description:

A selection of trams from Japan (starting with Hiroshima). There are intentions to continue drawing trams from all over Japan.
This set is primarily a test for my Articulated Vehicles work (see 'Home') but I wish to expand this set further once time permits.

238 Series (1928)

Model 230 was a gift from Hannover city in Germany for the fifth anniversary of a sister city contract.Its master controller is round type.It's in service on Hakushima line on holidays in winter.

Model 3000 was transfered from Former Nishi-Nippon Railroad kita-kyushu Line vehicle. The Models used to be 12 2-car truck-joined vehicles, but later they were rebuilt to 8 3-car truck-joined vehicles.

Model 3900 is rebuilt based on Model 3800. After being improved its motor and making a riding capacity big, Model 3900 is able to be operated even when being a 2-car truck-joined vehicle.

Model 70 was transfered from Dortmund city in Germany. It is a smart-looking 3-car vehicle and has a German atmosphere inside. There are 2 Models, and one of them is in service on Hijiyama line in the morning and evening.

Model 700 was produced as Hiroden's original light and comfortable vehicle, the same as Model 800. It is in service only on City line. It starts and stops with only a handle.

Model 900 was transfered from Former Osaka Municipal Streetcar Service vehicle. It is in service only on City line. It is the first one-man-operated car in Hiroshima. Today the car is operated mainly on Yokogawa line.
